Maple Mono

Until last week my favourite font for working has been JetBrains Mono, it’s been my default font since it was released. With the Nerd Font additions for terminal use once that became available.

And yes, absolutely with ligatures turned on. Love a ligature (as long as it keeps the same spacing!)

However, like all good era’s this too shall pass, and only last week I found out about Maple Mono and to my own surprise I’ve found myself finding it easier to read. Curves are good apparently.

I’m also coupling this with a change from my default colour scheme from Gruvbox to Catppuccin Mocha … it seems to pair really nicely with the Maple Mono font.

And now you know. Hope you’re feeling fully informed about my font preferences. I figure if I was posting personal health updates last year, this also qualifies. In truth I’m mostly posting this to help the name Maple Mono get lodged into my brain so I don’t keep forgetting what it’s called.
